Mainly Photography but a little of everything at times

March Break 2010 continues, Jasper Alberta

Well we arrived in Jasper, Alberta with no issues. Highway 93 north from Banff to Jasper was scary in a few place (near Columbia Icefields was easily the worst area) but, we made it. The weather was cloudy with snow flurries so, we check into the Marmot Lodge and hung out. Megan and I did go to Jasper Camera and Gift to have a look around. While there I spoke to a young man about places to go photograph. The main places that were considered were Patricia and Pyramid Lakes (just 4 and 7 km from town) and Maligne Lake (48 km away). I was up at 6:15 am to adventure out and even though it was still overcast and snowing I went anyway. What I found was awesome, Maligne maybe one of the nicest drives in Canada. I am certainly going back when the weather clears (which it is supposed to later today). Here are some images from my morning out. Stay tuned there may be more from this trip in a day or two. Thanks for looking and Happy Shooting.
