“But Dad, I have to move the bugs are out” – A short photo walk with Jenna

with 3 comments

Last night I decided to go out and take a few pictures of a beautiful Yellowknife Sunset. Jenna, my eight year old daughter, decided she would tag along (don’t mention it to Dale as it was around 11:20 pm). There we were being hunted by mosquitos while we walked the Range Lake Trial. Jenna agreed to pose for a couple of pictures and as I snapped away she kept moving. “Stay still it is only six seconds” I told her. She tried several times and we actually did get a couple of great photos (we got some cool shots of this ghostly figure when Jenna was moving but, those can be for another day). We hurried back, all the while trying to stop the mosquitos from consuming us. We laugh and scratched for a few minutes and then Jenna was off to bed. Here is what we saw and if you look closely you can see some of Jenna’s movement. Thanks again for visiting here and Happy Shooting.

  1. I love these… you have a natural talent 🙂
And your daughter, we have the same name, and I think she sounds adorable 🙂

  3. Love the moody sky and the tranquil waters. Was the lake that glassy, or did the longer exposure even it out a little?

I think Jenna did a pretty good job of holding still for you. Nice work!
