Lee Sacrey Photography – Lee's Chatter

Mainly Photography but a little of everything at times

It is that time of year again – the Green thumbs are out in force.

My wife Dale has a green thumb. Every year she spends countless hours moving bulbs and planting things all around the yard. She does most things well and if I could only get her intelligence to rub off on me that would be great. She can make anything grow and she can craft almost anything as well. I have jokingly said on many occasions that if she had enough steel wool she could knit or craft me a car. Or if she used one of those old tire planters, she could grow me a truck. So to show some of her talent for all things floral here are some early photos of the things growing around here. Thanks for checking out the blog and as always Happy Shooting.

  2. Beautiful pictures! Beautiful flowers! A job well done by your {my daughter in-law} beautiful wife. Wish she lived near by,to sow flowers for me,that would be a real gift of love.

  3. Great close-up work Lee. It’s always great to have someone with a green thumb who can actually cultivate a beautiful garden. You can just set up in your own yard and shoot for hours!! The flowers are beautiful and the details are great. I love the first one and your composition in the last one is great – I love the juxtaposition of focus between the two flowers.
