Mainly Photography but a little of everything at times

The road to Grande Prairie, Alberta is paved with fall colours.

Recently, I had to make a quick trip to Grande Prairie, Alberta – work related stuff.  Garry Kelly would be with me as he usually is on some of these work related trips. Going from Yellowknife to GP would be a quick run, not a lot of time for stopping let alone picture-taking. We did see a few deer while driving down and we got to see some good locations for photo stops on our return. We arrived, check into our hotel, took care of some personal business and then off to our evening meeting. We arrived back at our room about 11:00 pm. The next morning we were up bright and early and on the road. This time we could take some time for a few stops on the way. Garry did most of the driving while I sat with one camera in my lap (for wildlife) and a second on the back seat (for landscapes). Garry, being the patient guy that he is, stopped anytime I asked (until we both thought we might never get home). We saw a lot of things on our return trip and here is part one. Thanks for stopping by, stayed tune for the next part of the trip and as always Happy Shooting.
