Shawna McLeod. Shawna did a great job today and considering she came into today thinking she would be in the Graphic Design Competition, I would say she was excellent. She was unaware that there was a Photography Competition and quickly switched as soon as she knew. She didn’t bring a Portfolio and was quickly able to put one together. She didn’t have a camera with her and had to borrow my back-up camera to use for the day. Considering the pressure of these issues, Shawna was cool and calm. She spent her day taking photos and easily met the competition deadline. Below are three of Shawna photographs, two from images which made up part of her portfolio and one from todays work. The first two are from the Fort Providence area of the NWT (where Shawna is from), the third a self-portrait with a twist (a twisted LCD which displays the actual image). I enjoyed working with Shawna today and I hope you enjoy her work. With time to prepare we can only guess how good her work would have been. I look forward to see more from this young lady. Thanks for following along and as always Happy Shooting.
