Lee Sacrey Photography – Lee's Chatter

Mainly Photography but a little of everything at times

Why is this not Freshly Pressed?

A few weeks ago I purchased my first set of studio lights. This week Kyla, my oldest daughter, decided it was time we tried them out. We headed to the family room where she had some plain white sheets hanging as a backdrop. She had purchased the sheets earlier that day I was told, and with no muslins or backgrounds she thought sheets would work fine. I also don’t have any background stands so Kyla decide the ping-pong table should work for that. So we set up the lights even though we didn’t really know what we were doing (sounds like we need Dave Brosha to stop by for coffee, lol). Megan and Jenna agreed to be our models and we even got Dale to be in a couple of shots. We took pictures for a couple of hours before stopping. It was great fun. We will need to do a few things, watch the tutorial videos on the lighting companies website and freshly press the sheets we are going to use as a backdrop, lol. Here are some of my images from my families photo shoot. I hope you like what you see. Thanks for stopping by and as always, Happy Shooting.
