Summer Travels 2012 – part 6

with 3 comments

Here in Lethbridge we are staying in the Bridgeview RV Resort. It is called Bridgeview because from the resort you can easily see the Lethbridge Viaduct aka the High Level Bridge. The bridge is actually a train trestle, not just any trestle but the longest and highest of its kind in the world. It is one mile and forty-seven feet long and three hundred seven feet high. It was completed in 1909, which makes it even more impressive to me. So, I couldn’t spend some time in Lethbridge without getting a few images of the bridge. Here is how I saw it. I hope you enjoy the photos. Stay tuned for images from the Street Wheelers weekend cruise night and whatever else our travels will bring. Thanks for following along and as always Happy Shooting.

  1. Nice pictures Lee. I saw this one many, many years ago in 1985. One of my friends that I did nursing with is from Lethbridge, so we went to visit one weekend and did some sight seeing as well. Great shots!
