Lee Sacrey Photography – Lee's Chatter

Mainly Photography but a little of everything at times

More prospecting – Sunset.

Last night, along with my friend Jan Fullerton, I went back to The Prospector’s Trail. The plan was to get into the small lake along the trail and shoot sunset. The lake is about a kilometre from the end of the trail so, we would start from the end instead of the beginning. Time was a little tight as the sunset would be around 9:35 pm and we didn’t arrive at the trail until around 9:15 pm. We are also not sure what the area will be like for sunset images as neither of us has shot sunset from there before. On the hike in and when we arrived the light was beautiful but the sun was down farther than I would have liked. We spend some time and take a few photos before heading back before night falls. We were probably only gone for a total of an hour and a half but, it was a fun hike. Jan took about four times as many photos as I did but, I think that may be pretty normal for me, lol. Here is what I captured. Thanks for stopping by and as always Happy Shooting.

  1. These are beautiful! I can just imagine sitting there and watching the light change.
