The lost October posts – Part III
As October continued I made a second trip to the Cameron River. This trip wasn’t to the falls but, farther along the Ingraham Trail to where the highway crosses the river. Two other Photographers decided to take the drive with me, Adam Hill from Hay River and Trace Grunerud from here in Yellowknife. We spent quite a bit of time at the Cameron River location but, did make some other stops along the way. On one of the lakes along our drive there was a Hawk. The Hawk appeared to have caught something for its lunch. We made a quick stop to get some images of this great bird of prey. Adam was a little more adventurous then Trace and I, he wandered to the lakes edge to capture his photos. I capture some shots of Adam trying camouflage himself. It seemed to work well, I know when I tried to get closer with my bright orange jacket the Hawk would just fly away. All of the images I am posting here will have someone in them (people ruining good landscapes, lol). The first has both Adam and Trace, the second has Adam in his famous red jacket and the final one is of the well camouflaged Adam capturing the Hawk. Another great morning of shooting. Enjoy the images, thanks for hanging out, stay tuned for the final part of this series and as always Happy Shooting.
